1. Who we are
Eversby is a wedding-planning web app operated by SoulSyncLove (“we”, “us”). For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, SoulSyncLove is the data controller for the personal information you provide when using Eversby. Contact: hello@soulsynclove.com.
2. What we collect
- Account information: your email address and authentication details, your partner’s name (and email if you invite them), the names you choose to display.
- Wedding information: anything you enter into Eversby — checklist items, budget, suppliers, guest list, RSVPs, seating, schedule, vows, photos and notes.
- Payment information: processed directly by Stripe. We receive a transaction reference and confirmation of payment, not your card number.
- Technical data: minimal logs needed to operate the service securely (e.g. authentication events, error reports).
3. Why we use it & lawful basis
- To provide the service (performance of a contract): storing and displaying everything you add to your wedding workspace, syncing it across your devices and your partner’s login.
- To take payment (performance of a contract): processing your one-off £47 purchase via Stripe.
- To keep Eversby secure (legitimate interests): preventing fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
- To respond to you (legitimate interests): handling your support emails and data requests.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted processors to run the service:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles your card details directly under its own privacy policy.
- Supabase — hosting and database (data is stored in the EU/UK region where available).
- Hosting / CDN providers — to deliver the app reliably.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers or wedding vendors.
5. Guests & the public pages you publish
If you publish a wedding website, digital invite or RSVP link, the information you choose to display on those pages becomes accessible to anyone with the link. Guest responses (RSVPs, meal choices, accommodation requests) are stored in your private dashboard.
6. Privacy between partners
Each partner has their own login. Your private Vows and Attire & beauty pages are visible only to you — your partner cannot see them. Everything else in the wedding workspace is shared between you both.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your wedding workspace for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so you can return to it. You can request deletion at any time (see below). Payment records are kept for at least 6 years as required by UK tax law.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”);
- request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@soulsynclove.com.
9. International transfers
Some of our processors (e.g. Stripe) may transfer data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
